Cancellation Policy
The Urban Jungle Society has a no-cancellation policy for online orders. Due to the nature of selling live plants that are perishable, it is a difficult to accommodate change of mind from when the order is placed. As soon as an order is placed, these items are removed from our online shop and our growers set aside and deliver to our dispatch facility. We therefore cannot accommodate change of mind as it throws out our system and processes.
Accepted quoted orders that are cancelled with less than 7 days’ notice of delivery/pick up will incur a 10% restocking fee.
Transportation
We take great care in packaging your items, but we cannot be liable for any damage caused during shipping if you grant permission for the item to be left unattended upon delivery. Please ensure someone is present to receive your package to avoid issues. Variegated and rare plants can experience transport shock during delivery, leading to temporary wilting or leaf damage. This is common due to climate changes and long-distance transport. Rest assured; these plants typically bounce back quickly with proper care. We recommend giving your new plant a thorough watering upon arrival to help it recover. Additionally, some minor leaf damage may occur during transits, but this does not affect the overall health of the plant - with time and care, your plant will adjust and thrive in its new environment.
